Your Habits and Data

We do not collect your personal habit data. Any data you create inside CheckHabit—including your habits, daily reflections, journal entries, sub-tasks, and notes—is saved directly and securely on your own device. We do not require an internet connection, we do not require you to create an account, and your data is never sent to our servers.

Information You Provide to Us

We only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:

This information may include your name and email address, which we use strictly to respond to your inquiries.

No Data Selling

2. Mobile App & Device Data

Local Notifications

CheckHabit uses local push notifications to deliver reminders. These notifications are scheduled directly on your device. We do not use remote push notification servers, which means we do not collect or store device push tokens. You can manage these reminders at any time through your device's system settings.

Voice Dictation

When using the voice dictation feature to record notes hands-free, the speech recognition is performed completely on-device using native OS capabilities (such as Apple's or Google's on-device speech frameworks). Your audio data is never sent to CheckHabit servers or third-party cloud transcription services.

Crash Reports and Analytics

To improve the stability and reliability of our app, we may use third-party tools (such as Firebase Crashlytics) to collect aggregated, anonymous data regarding app crashes and basic usage statistics. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely on the basis of your express consent to identify and fix bugs. You can revoke this consent at any time in the app settings.

3. Third-Party Services

CheckHabit relies on the following third-party infrastructure for specific functions:

• Payment Processors (RevenueCat): If you choose to upgrade to a premium version of CheckHabit, your payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to securely manage and sync these in-app subscriptions across your devices. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card details. 4. Your Rights & Choices

Because your data lives exclusively on your device, you are always in complete control of it. You have the right to:

• Export all your raw data at any time via CSV from the app's settings.
• Generate and share PDF reports or images of your progress.
• Completely delete your data by uninstalling the CheckHabit application from your device.

Since we do not host your personal data on our servers, there is no centralized data retention policy for your habits or journals. All of this information is retained on your device for as long as you keep the app installed.

If you delete the app, your personal data is immediately and permanently deleted from your device. This action cannot be undone unless you have manually backed up your device or exported your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the Service or changes in legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
